Understanding Alexa Guard
Alexa Guard is Ring's name for AI features that enhance your compatible Ring devices. The features in Alexa Guard offer different settings and functionality from original Alexa and Alexa+ features. Alexa features and capabilities, such as asking for weather, setting timers, and seeking general information, are not supported through Ring devices or Alexa Guard features. Unless specified otherwise, an Alexa device is not needed to power Ring-specific features.
